(CLARKSON, KY) – Kentucky State Police say at 8:37 p.m. ET Thursday, Post 4 received a call from Grayson County Central Dispatch, asking for assistance in a shooting at 48 Tara Lane in Clarkson.
Preliminary investigation reveals at about 8:05 p.m. ET 84-year-old, Alva Gussler of Clarkson got into an argument with 59-year-old, Laura L. Ford who lived in the home with Alva Gussler and his son, 48-year-old Michael C. Gussler.
At some point in the argument, KSP says Alva Gussler produced a gun and shot Laura Ford in the chest. She was taken to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at 9:10 p.m. ET.
KSP says Alva Gussler has been charged with Murder and Assault 1st Degree, and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
