EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) - After hosting the GLOCK Sport Shooting Foundation event this weekend, Park Mammoth Resort says they are thankful to be open.

In late January strong storms caused over half a million dollars of damage to the hotel. Before the summer season began, the resort was able to put the pieces back together. The owners admit it was a small set back, but they are now better than ever.

"Luckily we had a great insurance company and luckily we have been able to take that and do some renovations to the hotel. So its been a tough situation, but we are making the best of it," says Nick Noble.

Park Mammoth Resort says this summer will once again be full of music festivals, motocross events, shooting competitions and company picnics.
