The City of Bowling Green will close Paul Walker Golf Course starting Monday, June 4, 2012 in order to convert the putting green surfaces to Champion Bermuda Grass.
These newer Hybrid Champion Bermuda Greens are expected to provide players with more consistent quality putting greens and will be able to withstand a large amount of traffic along with high summer temperatures.
Paul Walker Golf Course is expected to re-open around mid-September. Both Crosswinds Golf Course and The Golf Course at Riverview will be open during this time period.
