HODGENVILLE, Ky. -- Musicians who were featured in the movie "Lincoln" are scheduled to perform later this month at the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park near Hodgenville in central Kentucky.
The group, known as "President Lincoln's Own Band," will perform at the park on May 24, starting at 7 p.m.
Band members wear 19th-century period reproduction wool uniforms and play brass instruments from the period.
The hourlong performance will include songs made popular during the 19th century and the Civil War.
The event is free and open to the public.
Visitors are urged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Parking will be at the park's visitor center parking lot.
