LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Louisville coach Rick Pitino has followed through on a promise he made to his players to get a tattoo.
Media reported on Friday that Pitino got the tattoo, which consists of a red "L," the year and "NCAA Champions 35-5."
Pitino had visited a Louisville tattoo parlor on Thursday to support assistant coach Vinnie Tatum, who also got a tattoo.
Pitino told his players he'd get a tattoo after the Louisville Cardinals won the national men's college basketball championship on April 8.
