Police say as many as 2,000 items related to illegal drugs were seized from two businesses in Muhlenberg county.

The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department says they found digital scales, glass pipes, bongs, marijuana grinders and other items from the Always Open Market and Falcon Fuel in Central City.

Nearly all the items were hidden or behind the counter.

Charges are pending and police say it is likely the individuals selling the
items will be charged with trafficking and drug paraphernalia.

Police say just a portion of the items totaled more than $ 4,500.
