Police in Bath County are looking for the owner of 22 horses who showed up in the front yard of a state police sergeant.

Police told WKYT-TV that they contacted local farmers after the horses turned up on Tuesday night. None of the farmers have claimed ownership of the animals.

Police say it looks like the horses had been loose for some time.

Anyone with information about the horses can call the state police at (606)-784-4127.
