BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- The Warren County Sheriff's Office says a Bowling Green woman may be charged after gun shots were fired Friday morning.

Just before 11:00 AM, police arrived at the Holly Hills Apartments on East Heights Avenue in Bowling Green.

According to deputies, Johnnie Decker, 60, told them her brother, Elton Carter, 55, had come to her home and started taking her stuff.

She told police he punched her in the face, so to scare Carter off, Decker fired her gun into the air.

Police say their investigation shows they yelled at each other inside the apartment, and Decker ran outside and shot at Carter's car as he was driving off.

No was injured.

Police say they are looking to charge Decker with wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, and tampering with physical evidence, but she has not been arrested at this time.
