The run for the White House in 2016 could be starting earlier than ever.
Speculation about the field of potential candidates is already underway.
And at least one Republican is already expressing an interest in running.
First-term GOP U.S. Senator and Bowling Green native Rand Paul told ABC News he won't deny he's interested in a 2016 presidential bid.
And he told our Gene Birk the day before the election, unlike most Republicans, he'd be open to discussing military spending.
Paul also said he would offer a unique perspective as a presidential nominee.
