With the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl kicking-off in less than 30 minutes many restaurants plan to have a crowd this evening.
Local restaurants hope fans will brave the weather and come watch the game.
As the toppers are suiting up for the game in Detroit the snow has fallen in Bowling Green, and several WKU fans are bundling up inside several local restaurants preparing for the game.
"I've been watching them play since I was little," WKU fan, Billy Swayze says.
For Swayze watching football from his favorite restaurant is most important.
And as the Toppers are preparing to take on Central Michigan, he's right in front of a flat screen at Lost River Pizza.
"I think there is going to be a lot of people in here so it's going to be a good game," Swayze says.
"Right now, we have over forty reservations, we are taking reservations for a seat, we'll hold it for you for game time," Lost River Pizza Head Chef, Andy Henderson says.
For Henderson, seeing a crowd for any WKU game is good news.
While serving customers is important, as a lifelong fan, Henderson will definitely be rooting for his team.
"I'll be peeking my head through the window just to watch the game and making sure that Western is doing as good as I expect them to do. We're really pumped about them and we employee a lot of Western students, so of course everyone is going to have their eyes on the screen," he says.
With a staff filled with Hilltopper fans, Henderson can't deny how much he is ready for the big game.
"Very much excited. We've never seen this before. Western being in a bowl game, Division 1, since they got inducted," he says.
Henderson expects a packed house at Lost River Pizza tonight with all eyes on the on the Toppers.
The Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl will air tonight on ESPN at 6:30.
Don't forget to watch WBKO at 10 later tonight for a full recap of the game.
