Bowling Green Rotary Club Lends A Hand

Some members of the noon Bowling Green Rotary Club gave a helping hand Saturday.

A former Bowling Green Doctor, and the club are helping give a family a home.

It's thanks to a big donation.

Dr. Raja Kara of Louisville started practicing medicine in Bowling Green in 1977.

When he sold his clinic he wanted to give back to Bowling Green.

Doctor Kara donated $40,000 for the Rotary Club to give to Habitat for Humanity to provide a refugee family of six with a home. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
