"The building is the community's building. The lobby is the community's living room."

SKyPAC is now one year old and to celebrate today they gave back to the community, by opening their doors and providing free entertainment to the public.

Their free community day was filled with art gallery's, activities for the kids, free giveaways, and of course performances.

SKyPAC says this is just one way they can give back to a community that has allowed them to grow.

"The building is the community's building. The lobby is the community's living room, and I think this is a way for us to continue to reinforce that," says Tom Tomlinson, the Executive Director at SKyPAC.

The event featured twenty-two different performances from a variety of genres.
