SOMERSET, Ky. (AP) -- A south-central Kentucky man has been charged with twice posing as an agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The Commonwealth-Journal reported that 30-year-old Jonathan Fitzgerald Cannada approached Pulaski County Constable Mike Wallace during an incident Tuesday while Wallace responded to a call.
Wallace didn't immediately arrest Cannada, but chose to do so after the man claimed for a second time to be an FBI agent.
Wallace says he made several phone calls after the incident, and discovered Cannada was not on any records as a federal investigator.
Cannada was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond. Jail records did not list an attorney.
