Police arrest a State Department of Parks employee because he was using a state vehicle for illegal activity.
Campbellsville Police arrested 57-year-old Bobby Thomas of Campbellsville, Kentucky on theft and official misconduct charges during a traffic stop this weekend.
Police believe Thomas, who works for the Department of Parks Construction Division was using the state vehicle to deliver stolen materials to a local recycling business.
Police say he tried to conceal this by covering the great seal of the Commonwealth on the car.
Thomas is now in Taylor county jail, and police impounded the state owned vehicle.
