The man accused of robbing American Bank and Trust on June 20th of last year was arraigned in court this morning.

Warren County Commonwealth Attorney Chris Cohron says Steven Paul Harston, 47 pleaded not guilty in Warren District Court.

His bond has been set at $250,000.

Harston has been charged with one count of robbery, but Cohron expects more charges to come, as he is believed to be involved in multiple bank robberies across South Central Kentucky and Northern Tennessee.

Cohron says because of Harston's criminal history, he may be looking at a lot of jail time.

"Mr. Harston has a prior conviction for a bank robbery out of California with that previous charge and the current charges, he could face up to a life sentence in Kentucky," Cohron says.

A preliminary hearing is set for Monday at 9 AM.

Harston is currently in the Warren County Regional Jail.
