HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (AP) — The Kentucky State Arson Task Force is offering a reward of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment whoever was responsible for a fire at Northside Paint and Auto Shop on Sept. 20.

The Kentucky New Era reported the cause of the fire is being investigated by the task force as well as Hopkinsville police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Investigators believe the fire was deliberately set.

Hopkinsville's four fire stations responded to the 3 a.m. blaze, but when they arrived, the auto shop was engulfed in flames. The roof collapsed minutes later.

A motorcycle parked next to the building was saved, and there were no injuries reported.
