Local teens tested their trivia knowledge to wrap-up Black History Month today.
A Black History Jeopardy Bowl was held at State St. Baptist Church to benefit the church's food pantry.
The Urban Leadership Alliance hosted and helped prep the teens for the event.
Jeopardy Bowl Organizer Shanna Banks says the goal for the event is to help younger generations stay informed about their heritage.
"We really wanted to do something to extend our Black History Month so that's why we purposely chose to have it on March 3rd just so our kids can have have a little bit more to look forward to, and actually we are just trying to get them to go on and show the legacy that we have," Banks says.
This was the first year the event was held.
