Thousands Expected This Weekend At Beech Bend Raceway

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Organizers say it's not your mom and pop car show this weekend at Beech Bend Raceway.

The 4th annual Holley LS Fest is expected to bring in thousands of spectators from as far away as Canada. Multiple classes of racing will take place including auto cross, drifting and drag racing.

Organizers say the weekend is all about raw horsepower of the one of a kind engines.

"It's really a celebration of any vehicle that has a GM LS engine in it. It's really the engine of choice now a days. The original small block Chevy has been replaced with the LS engine so hot rodders of all different kinds are using this engine," says Director of Marketing Bill Tichenor.

The event kicks off Friday at Beech Bend Raceway and runs through Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at the track.
