A crash in Todd County leaves one man dead.

Kentucky State Police say Thomas Bowles, 34, Brittany Peay, 18, and Tiffany Hill, 3, all of Bowling Green, were driving eastbound on US 68.

That is when a van driven by Hershel Word, 78, of Hopkinsville tried to make a left turn from Kentucky 475 and pulled into the path of their truck.

Bowles was unable to avoid the crash and hit Hershels van in the driver side door.

Everyone involved was taken to the hospital.

Hershel Word later died.

The accident is still under investigation.
