Two Airlifted to Vanderbilt After Logan County Wreck

Updated: Fri 3:13 PM, Aug 17, 2012

A Logan County accident sends two to Vanderbilt Hospital via helicopter.

Logan County Deputies say the wreck happened on U.S. 431 at Berea Church Road south of Russellville Thursday morning.

They say 52-year-old Gary Teague was driving his tractor-trailer, when debris on the road caused him to lock up his brakes and skid across the center line. Teague's truck then collided head-on with an SUV driven by 19-year-old Arron Morris.

Morris was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital where he was listed in stable condition. Morris' passenger,18-year-old Daron Gregory, was also airlifted. Teague was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Deputies say the road was blocked for about three hours.
