BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The operator of the motorcycle has been identified as Timothy K. Madison, 22, of Bowling Green and his passenger has been identified as Sandrice L. Parker, 24, of Bowling Green.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Two people have died following a motorcycle accident around 2 a.m. this morning.

It happened on Ewing Ford Rd. just past Cemetery Rd. in Bowling Green. Kentucky State Police say a Bowling Green Police Officer witnessed the driver driving recklessly just before the crash, and attempted to make a traffic stop.

"At which point the motorcycle took off at a high rate of speed. Due to the motorcycle having a passenger on it, the officer turned off his emergency equipment off and disregarded the pursuit, and the motorcycle continued on, went through the intersection here, and had a collision," said Kentucky State Police Trooper Jonathan Biven.

Both the driver and passenger died. Kentucky State Police are not releasing their names at this time, but we will provide you with more details as they become available.
