The East West Kung-Fu Academy got together with WKU tonight to host a Stun and Run.
While it was a small turnout at the Faculty House on WKU's campus, the event is designed to teach you how to get out of a situation quickly while using minimal force.
Grand Master Tom Pardue says it's all to learn how to protect yourself within your three foot circle.
"The TFC programs teach in one hour or two hour periods, things you can walk out and use right now, with no technical proficiency's, no punching, no kicking, all sub-level, all non-libelous techniques that you can use legally," said Pardue.
"I think it's really important for a woman to know how to protect themselves, just in case you are ever in a situation," said WKU senior Christina Blocker.
This was put on by the university as part of sexual assault awareness month.
