BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- UPDATE 5:30 PM--
A Bowling Green man is in jail after he fired shots in his apartment.
At 11:30 Thursday night, neighbors of Zachary Lemley, 21, say he walked out of his home in the Willow Creek Apartments on Shive Lane, and started yelling.
Witnesses say he appeared drunk.
A short time later, the caller says she hear three shots fired.
Witnesses also saw him outside holding a shotgun, but Lemley was not making any threats.
When police got there, they could not get Lemley to come outside.
They waited there all night, until he walked outside around 6:30 Friday morning.
Police say during a search, they found a shotgun under his bed.
They also found three bullet holes on the walls and ceiling.
Police say his neighbors were home at the time, but they were not hit.
Lemley admitted to police that he had been drinking, but did not remember shooting a gun.
He was arrested on wanton endangerment charges.
Police officers spent most of the night camped outside an Bowling Green apartment after a report of shots fired.
Bowling Green Police say around 11:30 Thursday night, they got a call about three gun shots at Willow Creek Apartments.
Witnesses say Zachary Lemley, 21, came out of his apartment, screamed, went back inside, and then gunfire was heard.
Police say he stayed inside the apartment, so they waited all night so they could do a welfare check.
This morning, he walked outside and police arrested him for wanton endangerment.
Police say they found bullet holes in the wall and floor of his apartment.
Lemley is in the Warren County Regional Jail.
