Warren County Man Pleads Not Guilty to Arson

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- A Warren County man pleads not guilty to burning down a historical motel in Bowling Green.

Preston Wettstein told a Warren Circuit Judge Steve Wilson he didn't burn down the historic Horse Shoe Camp on Louisville Road back in April.

Law enforcement officials believed he was high on something at the scene.

The building was owned by the family of Warren County Sheriff Peanuts Gaines.

The motel is registered under the United States National Register of Historic Places.

Wettstein will be back in court on July 28th at 9:00 a.m. for a pre-trial conference.
