When troopers responded to a domestic disturbance call at 3545 Penns Chapel Road just after two o'clock Monday afternoon, they say 56-year-old Lindel O'Neal approached them with a knife.
After repeated commands to drop the knife, KSP says O'Neal tried to cut his own throat. As they gave him aid, troopers say the house became engulfed in flames.
A warrant was issued for Mr. O' Neal for first degree sodomy. Additional charges are pending further investigation.
O'Neal's injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
