What Would You Buy If You Won the $300 Million Powerball Jackpot?

Even the people who rarely buy lottery tickets are buying them today, because the Powerball Jackpot is at $300 million. By three this afternoon, the Minit Mart on Morgantown Road had sold 50 -- two times as many as they usually sell.

"Normally we sell about 25 tickets depending on the day, depending on the amount, but normally we do sell a lot more as it goes up," said Allison Higginbotham, food manager at Minit Mart.

People who regularly buy tickets said it's worth the two dollars for even a small chance of winning.

That means, if you won, you could buy 75 million $4 frappuccinos from Starbucks or more than 2,000 of the most expensive cars in Bowling Green -- that is, if BMW made more than 1,000 of them a year.

Others had different ideas.

"I definitely wouldn't work and my parents wouldn't have to work and my brothers wouldn't have to work. I'd take care of me and my family," said Rhonda Smith, the Minit Mart manager.

"A house in Florida. It's just a dream of me and my wife's to go to Florida," said ticket buyer, Justin Foster.

"I would take my whole family on vacation," said Smith. "We definitely want a cruise."

Smith could take 120,000 people on a cruise that costs $2,500 per person.

And while most know the chances of winning aren't high, the numbers are just too big for some not to try their luck.

The Powerball drawing is tomorrow.
