A Western Kentucky University graduate has left the United States to serve as a teaching assistant in Argentina as part of the prestigious Fulbright Program.

A Western Kentucky University graduate has left the United States to serve as a teaching assistant in Argentina as part of the prestigious Fulbright Program.

24 year old Katherine Hale of Nicholasville left Ssaturday for South America. While there, she'll teach english.

Hale will be working as a language assistant at the National University of Villa Maria.

The Fulbright Program, an international educational exchange program, is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
