BG Transit Changing Routes

Go BG Transit has made some changes to their routes to accommodate customers.

The five public transit routes have been changed to help with safety and to shorten bus rides.

None of the new Go BG routes cross over a railroad, to decrease driving time and to help prevent accidents.

Public transit coordinator Ken Merideth says he would like to have more routes available, but he's doing his best to help shorten the ride time with the routes that are available.

"We've tried for more connection points in the field so the riders don't have to ride an hour to get on another bus and transfer," Merideth says.
