Are you thinking about taking your GED?

Now may be the time.

The GED test can be taken for free in Kentucky for the next few weeks.

Kentuckians who take the high school equivalency test between now and July 31 will have their fee of $60 to $120 paid by Kentucky Adult Education.

In January of 2014 new changes are coming to the GED test and those who have not completed the tests will have to start over because previous scores will expire.

To earn a GED, students must pass five test segments. Kentucky Adult Education says there are 16,000 people in Kentucky who have taken parts of GED test but have not completed it.
