A man in Hart County is facing several child pornography charges.
Police say Brandon Jaggers, 26, had sexual videos of a juvenile girl.
One neighbor says Munfordville has always been safe.
"This is a very quiet neighborhood. We don't have a lot of crime down here. Virtually, no theft or anything like that so I was surprised to hear that," says Betty Ann Logsdon, a neighbor of Jaggers.
When Logsdon heard the news of the arrest of her neighbor, she couldn't believe that a crime like child pornography may have been committed just two houses away.
Kentucky State Police say the girl was missing from Georgia.
"Through the investigation with the Georgia authorities the house that the child was supposedly staying at . When our troopers along with the hart county sheriff's department went there that's where the child was discovered," said Kentucky State Police Public Affairs Officer, Jonathan Biven.
Police found the girl staying at this home in Bonnieville, but the sex tapes were found at Jagger's home in Mundfordville.
Jaggers has been charged with rape use of a minor in a sexual performance, unlawful transaction with a minor, and 1st offense illegal sex act.
A family member of Jagger's says the girl is 16.
While the age of sexual consent in Kentucky is 16, police say the girl appeared to be under the influence of some form of intoxication.
By Kentucky state law standards for rape, police say the girl was physically helpless, which made the sex act a form of rape.
"The child was actually relayed back to her father," Trooper Biven said.
Jaggers appeared in court for arraignment this morning.
He was bailed out on an $80,000 property bond.
Jaggers is expected to appear in court again for a preliminary hearing January 7th.
Jaggers has also been charged with sodomy and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
