Stuff The Bus Ends With Another Successful Year

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - It was a weekend full of generosity and now the numbers are in for this year's Stuff the Bus.

SAM 100.7's Tony Rose and his crewed arrived at the WBKO studios bright and early Monday morning with 3 bus loads of school supplies totaling 8.75 tons.

Tony Rose says this season some of the area's youngest helpers made the biggest impact.

"A young lady comes up in 3rd grade and instead of a birthday party she tells all her party guests to bring school supplies for stuff the bus. Those are the ones that we just love. It gets us fired up. We are ready and want to work even harder," says Rose.

Starting Wednesday, school supplies will be delivered to school resource centers before being dropped off at schools across the 10 counties that make up South Central Kentucky.
