Youth Retreat to Teach Important Life Skills

The Union District Association help their annual Youth Retreat at Parker Bennett Elementary on Saturday.

Nearly 200 children ages 5 to 18 participated in classes and hands on activities designed to teach important life skills.

Those who planned the event say they hope to embrace, encourage, and empower the younger generation.

"It's about teaching them to be the best you, you can be," says Rochelle Syndor, the President of the Union District Youth Association.
