The Drug-Free Communities Support Program granted $125,000 dollars to the Scottsville/Allen County Faith Coalition.
It's part of the White House Office of Drug Control Policy.
The money will be used to assess public perceptions of drug and alcohol, provide information on the impact of substance abuse, and to train coalition staff and members.
It encourages local citizens to take an active role in preventing drug and alcohol abuse in their hometowns.
