The spokeswoman say "further investigation" of the case "will only benefit Mr. Gore."
A massage therapist has alleged Gore made unwanted sexual advances during a massage appointment in October 2006 at a downtown Portland hotel.
According to transcripts of a 2009 interview with detectives, the masseuse claims Gore groped and kissed her, and pinned her down on a bed. In an effort to get him to come to his senses, she says she told Gore he was acting like a "crazed sex poodle."
The National Enquirer first reported the allegations a week ago. A spokeswoman says Gore "unequivocally and emphatically" denies making unwanted sexual advances.
