Bowling Green Bans Fireworks

Tuesday night, although it was not on the agenda, the Bowling Green City Commission voted unanimously to place a ban on the discharge of fireworks.

The ban will last 90 days, during which time the commission will decide on a new ordinance.

After the 90 days, that new ordinance will have its first reading.
