Bowling Green City Commissioners Pass Budget

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Bowling Green City Commissioners passed its' $100 million dollar budget Tuesday night in the first reading.

City officials say this budget is sending bowling green in the right direction, just a few years after the recession in 2008.

There will be no tax increases, and no new debt in this budget.

Public transportation and repairing roads are both big parts of this budget.

This is the first reading and it won't become official until approved on the second reading.
