Candidates Talk About Monday Night's Stomping Incident

If Democrat Jack Conway was counting on a "bump" in the polls from the "Aqua Buddha" comments, or the "stomping incident" from this past Monday night, it doesn't look like he got it.

"To have your Bourbon County Chairman stomp on the head of a woman?" said Conway, "It's never appropriate. It's never appropriate. And resorting to physical violence against a woman is never appropriate. And then to say you're going to return his money and then not return his money, after you've been on record saying you're not going to return white separatist money, and not return the money from the porn operator in California. It is a potential game changer."

But Republican Rand Paul says, "I think people really are interested in the economy, creating jobs. People are interested in the deficit. I think other things like this are a distraction, and he hopes for a distraction because he doesn't want to talk about President Obama as his President, whether he supports President Obama or not."

The poll also showed 20% more men than woman prefer Paul to Conway.
