With demonstrators chanting outside, the Supreme Court has begun hearing arguments on the fate of President Barack Obama's historic health care overhaul.
The issue before the court today -- the first day of arguments -- is whether the challenge to the law is premature.
If the justices decide that it is, it would allow them to avoid making a ruling on the politically-charged case just months before the presidential election.
