Ralph Beck running for Warren County Family Court Judge.
GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) -- Ralph Beck announced Tuesday, he is seeking election to the Warren Circuit Court, Family Court One. This position is currently held by Judge Margaret Huddleston, who recently stated she would not seek re-election due to health issues.
The election will be held November 4, 2014 for an eight-year term. A primary will occur in May 2014 if more than two persons file for the position.
Ralph Beck is a life-long resident of Warren County. He graduated from Bowling Green High, Western Kentucky University, and the University of Louisville School of Law.
He has been a practicing attorney for more than thirty years, and is licensed to practice in all Kentucky State Courts, the Federal District Court, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice areas focus on Domestic Relations and Criminal Law.
Ralph Beck was the Warren County Domestic Relations Commissioner, appointed by the Warren Circuit Judges to oversee and hear cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, and other areas of family law. He served in this capacity from 1995 until 2000 when the current Family Law Court came into Warren County.
Candidate Beck is married to Kimberly Ward Beck, formerly of Owensboro. They have one daughter who is also a lawyer in Bowling Green.
