The Republican presidential race is well underway, but some party leaders are still not satisfied with their crop of candidates and continue to try and coax New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, into the field.
Sources tell ABC News that Christie is listening to the sales pitches from donors and supporters who are urging him to get into the race.
Last week, Christie sounded less than enthusiastic about the current candidates' approach to fixing the economy.
"The fact that nobody yet who's running for president, in my view, has done that effectively is why you continue to hear people ask Daniels if he'll reconsider and ask me if I'll reconsider."
Christie hits the road this week on a cross-country fund raising swing raising money in Missouri, California, and Louisiana.
