U.S. Sen. Rand Paul will be among the speakers at the Republican National Convention later this month when former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney accepts the GOP nomination.
Paul will be among a long list of other speakers from divergent wings of the Republican Party, including former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, the first female governors of their states.
A fellow tea party darling, Florida Gov. Rick Scott, also will speak, as will former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
Sen. John McCain of Arizona is on the speakers list at the convention that begins on Aug. 27 in Tampa, Fla., as is Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. Both were Republican presidential candidates in 2008.
