U.S. Senator Rand Paul says he thinks two suspected terrorists, Waad Alwan and Mohanad Hammadi, should be tried in a federal courtroom in Kentucky.
He says the court system here is more than capable of handling the case.
"In this instance when you capture them here, I think the federal court probably can take care of them actually much more swiftly than Guantanamo Bay and give them very lengthy sentences if they are found guilty," said Senator Paul
"We have convicted over 400 terrorist suspects in the United States. I think we have done a fairly good job our conviction rate is very high," said Senator Paul.
