The iPod is one of the most popular items on the market today.

They're also one of the most prized possessions for criminals and the temptation to steal them is stronger than ever.

According to researchers at a public policy institute, the temptation to steal an iPod could actually be behind a recent increase in the crime rate.

They argue that the iPod is perhaps the main reason U.S. violent crime has risen in recent years.

Now of course, like any research or study there are some holes.
