TV's across the country will start broadcasting in Digital TV and for some people that means they're going to lose their signal--unless they buy a converter box or a new television.

But who's going to need this box?

We spoke with Keaton Reeves, from Best Buy.

"If people are on satellite and they pull in their local stations by antenna then they need to get a converter box for their locals," said Reeves.

"If you pull in all your stations by antenna then you're going to need a digital converter," he adds.

And who's safe from this transition?

"If you're on cable then you don't have anything to worry about, you're good to go," says Reeves.

But that's not the case for Edmonson County resident Kimberly Devault.

"I don't have satellite. I use rabbit ears or an antenna," said Devault.

And if she wants to keep watching TV-- she needs the upgrade.

But good news!

The converter box is easy to hook-up.

The box costs anywhere from $40.00-$60.00 And you can sign up to get a government coupon good for $40.00 at dtv2009.com.

Kimberly already received her coupon.

"I've still got it at the house sitting at the kitchen table ready to go buy the box, but I haven't done it yet," she said.

And she still has some time-- the coupon must be used within 90 days of making.

In December, WBKO ABC will stop broadcasting our analog signal and will begin broadcasting in digital on channel 13.

You can get your hands on a converter box at the following stores:

Best Buy, Circuit City, Kmart, Radio Shack, Sears, Target, Walmart, Camping World, Stargazer Satellite Systems, McGown TV Sales& Service, Rite Aid Pharmacy, HH Gregg, Sam's Club, Pamida, Davis Electronics, Custom Digital Services, Gross Appliance & TV Inc., Sight & Sound Electronics
