The 2008 Democratics contending for the White House didn't break any ground during an online forum held Sept. 12, but the format did.
In an event dubbed the first-presidential "mash-up," candidates answered questions that were cut and posted on Yahoo's website, so users could directly compare responses.
The eight hopefuls spoke on issues ranging from Iraq, to health care and education.
The forum is a continuing effort to get more young people involved in the political process and vote.
Viewers are also able to vote online for their favorite candidate through the end of the week.
Republican contenders have also been asked to participate in a similar forum, but they haven't committed yet.
