MANCHESTER, England (AP) -- National flags? Check. Banners promoting Manchester United? Check. Booming voices? Check. An iPad or other tablet computer? Not so fast.

Man-U officials are banning fans from bringing iPads and other tablets into Old Trafford this season. The Premier League club says the policy change will "ensure the continued safety and security of all spectators."

It's unclear how the use of tablets might affect safety at the pitch -- but soccer fans have been using their tablets to take photos and videos in stadiums. That is raising concerns that matches could be filmed and copyright laws broken.

No other English club is believed to have introduced such measures.
