BROWNSVILLE — David E. Heyboer, 58, of Bowling Green died Sept. 28, 2007. He was a truck driver for C.R. England Truck Co., and was retired from Kentwood, Mich., police department and Grand Rapids Community College. He was a precision driving instructor, a martial arts pressure points instructor and an accident reconstructionist. He was also a member of Fraternal Order of Police and a ham operator. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. He was a son of the late Eugene Heyboer and Shirley Rober Heyboer of Grand Rapids, Mich., who survives. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Heyboer. Funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at Shadyland Church of Christ, where he was a member, with burial in Kinser Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel. Fels of Grand Rapids, Misty Kemph of Virginia Beach, Va., and Lindsey N. Bramblett of Bowling Green; a brother, Randy Heyboer and his wife, Rose, of Sparta, Mich.; two sisters, Peggy Sanders and her husband, Tom, of Muskegon, Mich., and Joyce Puls and her husband, Gordon, of Lantana, Fla.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
