GLASGOW — Christine White Morris, 99, of Glasgow died March 17, 2005, at a Glasgow nursing home. The Barren County native was a homemaker, a former school teacher in Warren County, worked with young people in Barren County as a 4H leader and was a member of Westwood Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Leslie White and Bessie Cole White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe K. Morris; two sisters, Myrtle Ferry and Evelyn White; and six brothers, James, Sewell, Joe Nolan, Rhea, Wilburn and Otis White. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include a daughter, Eloise Jackson and her husband, Charles, of Glasgow; three sons, Max Russell Morris and his wife, Judy, of Glasgow, James Leslie Morris of Summer Shade and Beverly Joe Morris and his wife, Betty, of Hermitage, Tenn.; a brother, Ed C. White and his wife, Dot, of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
