TOMPKINSVILLE — Letha Kerr Ford, 65, of Louisville, formerly of Monroe County, died April 12, 2005, at the home of her nephew in Columbia. The Cumberland County native was a nurse at the Department of Juvenile Justice in Jefferson County and a member of Elks Lodge of Lyndon and Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Ben Kerr and Lela Wells Kerr and the wife of the late Harold G. Ford. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Myrl and Kenneth Kerr; and a sister, Jewell Graves. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Strode Funeral Home, with burial in Bailey Cemetery in Tompkinsville. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and will begin at 6 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Survivors include a brother, Richard Kerr of Indianapolis; five sisters, Alene Brewington of Lexington, Geneva Graves, Ranese Gearlds and Mary Jackson, all of Tompkinsville, and Ruth Anderson of Indianapolis; and a special nephew, Tony Kerr of Columbia.
