Mabel Stinson Marks, 84, of Bowling Green died at 8:30 p.m. May 5, 2005, at The Medical Center. The Woodburn native was a retired assembly line worker at Holley Carburetor and a member of Three Springs Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Walter Thompson and Jessie Copas Thompson and the wife of the late Lloyd Stinson and the late Lionel Marks. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Thompson Jr. Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane Chapel, with graveside service at 10 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Survivors include a son, J. Larry Stinson and his wife, Pat, of Mayfield; a daughter, Linda Stinson Vincent of Bowling Green; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Stinson of Nashville; a cousin-in-law, Bernice Jent; four grandchildren, Stephen Lloyd Stinson and his wife, Elizabeth, and Eric Lynn Stinson, all of Bowling Green, Kevin Larry Stinson and his wife, Shannon, of Nashville and Melanie Ruth Frye and her husband, Douglas, of Cleves, Ohio; and eight great-grandchildren.
